Dolores Hidalgo is one of the municipalities in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. It’s located at 21°21′54 N, 101°11′03 O of that state, it lies about 1,980 meters high. You can get a Dolores Hidalgo satellite view or a map using Google Maps.

Its boundaries are San Diego de la Unión in the north.

Its territorial extension is 1 590 km².

The most important rivers that pass through Dolores Hidalgo are Laja and Batán or Trancas.

An important piece of information, for those who will travel to Dolores Hidalgo, is that the city have an important production of artesanies. Also the city offers a peculiar variation of ice cream flavours like beer, shrimp, tquila, cheese, roses, etc….

The climate is predominantly semiarid. The temperature usually at its peak 36.5°C in the summer and at its minimum about3.8°C during the winter.

    I love your pictures of Guanajuato and Dolores Hidalgo! They are fabulous!!

    Is it possible for me to get permission to use one of the pictures of the church in Dolores Hidalgo as well as the one of the park/Hidalgo’s statue/the church for an article I’m writing?
